      Who can open a checking account?

      Anyone with a Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union membership can open a checking account. Not sure if you’re eligible? Membership is open to everyone who lives, works or attends school in these communities:

      • Massachusetts counties of Middlesex or Essex;
      • Massachusetts cities or towns of Fitchburg, Leominster, Harvard, Lunenburg, or Lancaster;
      • New Hampshire counties of Hillsborough or Rockingham.

      In addition, we can make real estate mortgages on properties within a 100-mile radius of Lowell or anywhere in Massachusetts.

      For our youth members ages 13-18, we offer StartStrong Checking Accounts which are designed to help young adults build healthy money habits. To open an account, please visit one of our conveniently located branches.
